It's also hard to ignore the crap fest offense of the past 3.5 weeks.

Players can slump for weeks. But how often do TEAM hitting slumps last normally?

When it was the total opposite for longer?

I have no idea how often it happens to other teams because I'm too busy following the Angels to follow other teams. I would guess it happens. Try to explain why 65 games into the season the Giants look like the team to beat, since then they have been really bad.
