Angels got spanked by a very good team and everyone loses their minds......very good team just got finger blasted by the cubs...much like the aths got shower ****ed by the astros....

Dogs played their game, we didnt. It sucks. Pick it up tomorrow...

You are correct. This week has been tough and it sucks having to hear Dodger fans at work but it isn't the end. I am worried about the rotation and a few holes in the line up. Overall the offense will pick it up and hopefully Hamilton is either back on the shelf or moved out of the clean up spot.

Let's be reasonable... history has shown us it's all about who's hot come post-season.  As long as the Angels get there, anything can happen.  We've seen it too many times.

The 2006 Cardinals are the poster children for this.  That year they had two eight game losing streaks and a seven game losing streak and ended the season at 83-78 and yet.... they became World Champions.

Relax.

We've had the 2nd best record in baseball..

A rough stretch against some great teams and everyone freaks out...

Yah, the offense is slumping right now, but they'll be back. Its okay and its normal for offenses to slump.

The biggest concern is the starting rotation, and honestly, I'm okay with Weaver, Richards, Shoemaker...its Skaggs and Wilson that concern me.

But excuse me for the optimism.

This is pretty much where I sit. Baseball is a cyclical game, and we're in a down cycle at the moment. Without a lot of imagination we could have won three of four in the Dodgers series instead of dropping three of four. We did better against Clayton Kershaw than we did against Dan Haren, and I certainly can't explain that. Just one of those things.
