Well, if Calhoun doesn't like to be platooned, he's going to have to work on getting his OPS up against LHP and I believe by next year he will force his way into playing every day. However, Cowgill and Hamilton have been much better against lefties this year than he has.

 

Hard to get your OPS up against LHP when you don't play against them.  Pretty sure it trending up lately... and Cowgill's is going the opposite direction.  If you are facing Kershaw, and Calhoun has cooled off, fine.  Both games in a few days Cowgill has been back?  Not so much.  Calhoun is a better player.
