Iannetta has to be far worse defensively than any Angels catcher in the last decade.  So much for Scioscia preferring defensive catchers.

What was more amazing was his pickoff of the runner at second earlier in the game. That's the best throw I've seen from him this season (course I live in Michigan and don't see their games much). But then he nullified that with the throw on Kemp's steal. Freese and Iannetta's defense cost the team the game. Though the non-call strikeout of Ellis didn't help.
