I love that Santiago is matched up against Kershaw.

 

I don't know if that's Scioscia relying on Santiago to pitch well (he's bounced back of late) or him saying "F*ck it, we're going to lose that day anyway".  :P

I'm guessing it has more to do with the fact that they didn't have a day off and this is when Skaggs place in the rotation takes place.

When the Halos score 9 runs in the 1st inning, all with solo shots, Santiago will be able to ease his way into another victory.

What are you talking about?

Santiago has the second best ERA in the rotation in the past two months.
