Horse Face off to St. Louis

This is the worst trade I've ever seen. I know Joe Kelly and his family, and I was shocked to see him traded to Boston—it just doesn't make sense to trade a young arm like that

They need starting pitching, what with Wacha being on the 60 day DL.

Wainwright and Lynn are their only two active starters with a sub 4.00 ERA.

Irony, the guy St.L. took with our draft pick from the Pujols signing, now being out until at least early/mid September?

Now that he's in the NL he's practicing his baserunning.  At Dodger Stadium for some reason...

Still one of my favorite Mr. Ed episodes, that and Herman Munster trying out for the Raviners

Love John Roseboro's reaction in that video.

Back when the Ravine was a good ballpark, although the Raviners were treating the Halos like crap when they were co-tenants (visiting clubhouse being used).

Read that although his contract is committed at league minimum for next year, he will say that he will sit the year out in order to force a new deal getting done. Never thought about that.

If he does that Selig should suspend him for the following.

Lackey may do well in St. Louis -- remember when Jeff Weaver got deal to St. Louis (after many thought he was through?)

He won games in the playoffs and World Series and received a championship ring.....

then he bolted the place that brought his career back to life and signed that huge deal with Seattle -- that didn't work out very well.

Seattle broke out crying and was plain broke after the deal.......Jett Weaver was ineffective and his career on a downward spiral  --- but he was anything but broke.
