This depends on what CJ looks like when he returns. If he's at least passable then I like Shoemaker and Santiago on standby as multi-inning relief options. I think they're better suited for that role than CJ or Skaggs.

If Nibs' struggles are indeed due to the injury, have him take his time to ensure being close enough to 100%, and maybe thus delay his return to mid-August.

Then you can go with Weaver, Richards, Nibs, and Shoemaker for the post-season rotation and have Skaggs and Santiago help make for an even deeper bullpen with far greater lefty-righty flexibility.

It also prevents Skaggs from throwing too many pitches in 2014.
