Opposing Pitchers (looking ahead)

Recommended Posts

Detroit is obviously up next for us and we miss Sanchez.

Then we go to Baltimore for 3 next week. Norris and Gonzalez pitch Saturday and Sunday so we shouldn't see either again. Can't say I'm upset about that with the way they handled us this week.

Then we have 3 against the red hot Rays. Price pitches tomorrow and Cobb went last night. They off an off day next week. So we should luck out and miss both of these guys. I know we beat Price already this year but he's been Cy Price as of late.

We have a tough schedule ahead, any little breaks we can get ill take. Obviously things can change but if things stay on course that's who we'd miss.

Now that Soria is there, do they push Nathan back to the 8th inning, or keep Joba the Hut there and have Nathan and Alburquerque share the 7th inning spot?

I guess they could mix and match.

Nathan has never really gotten it going, ERA still near 6.00 and WHIP over 1.50, with 20 saves and 5 blown saves.

From 2004-2013, he had ONE season with a WHIP over 1.06 (1.16 in 2011 returning from TJ surgery).
