Hamilton Home Runs Watch

Recommended Posts

looks like a MUCH different hitter than pre-thumb injury, gotta believe its a factor

I've been thinking the same thing. I wonder if he tried to return before it was totally healed, or maybe he reinjured it shortly after coming back. Now he looks like the Hamilton of last season, weakly waving at pitches well out of the strike zone. He appears distracted, which pain would do. When the season started he appeared locked in and he wasn't swinging at junk.

I nearly threw up at the thought of that. But I suppose it would give Trout the chance to steal, while Hamilton goes down on three swinging stikes.

Trout walks. Trout steals second as Hamilton strikes out. Albert Pujols walks. Howie Kendrick grounds into an inning-ending double play.

@Alden_Gonzalez: Hamilton, on the trademark power he's hardly displayed this year: "It's still there. ... It hasn't gone anywhere." http://t.co/WcCZxyrLFh

"It's still there," Hamilton said of the prodigious power that once made him one of the game's most feared hitters. "In batting practice, early BP, it's there. It hasn't gone anywhere. I'm just trying to get it to translate to the game. But the worst thing you can do is try to do it in the game, try to create it."

Batting practice power?? Lol

Keep on making excuses HamilWhiffATon, I predict you don't even reach 12 HRs.

He's on pace for 9. For comparison Torii Hunter is on pace for 24
