Do not like anything I've seen from him. His stuff is really crappy. Seems like the only thing he has going for him is a deceptive delivery. I knew he didn't throw hard, but I thought his offspeed stuff was at least good. Nothing he throws looks good nor does it look like it fools hitters at all

Meh. Outfield is set for a few years at least. 3B is a problem, but we already didnt have anyone. SS is a problem and in that we shot ourselves in the foot.

2B is set with howie and yarbough, pujols is here...forever, and conger is young.

Id much rather have arms than position players

That is actually a good point.

Wasn't that the first time he actually pitched tight to a lefty since being acquired?

He sure can't survive in a better league by only pitching to the outside part of the plate.

Scary to think this guy will be counted on to get tough lefties out in high pressure situations. Don't like the idea of a loogy. Would rather have a pitcher who can get both lefties and righties out. Shouldn't matter what arm he throws with.

Thatcher has been embarrassing since his 1st appearance.

He can't throw strikes, he looks terrified on the mound, and he doesn't get batters out. I know things are cyclical with bullpen arms, but I can't help but feel that the Angels got robbed when they traded for him...maybe I was expecting too much though

I'm with Slappy on this, call up Roth.

He's been a totally different pitcher since the original DFA earlier in the season.

At AA, an ERA of just over 2.10 in his past 68 innings (past 10 starts) and 37/21 Ks/BBs after a much higher ERA and 19/19 Ks/BBs in his first 38 innings

He also was known in college for being an ultimate competitor.
