I once opened a control panel box and found a web with a black widow on it. The first thing I picked up was a can of metallic silver spray paint. It never dawned on me to light it off. I just sprayed the bitch until she stopped moving. When I left that job several months later she was still there entombed in her rust protective crypt.

Because most people would read the article and think...hey...that's a good idea even if the house burnt down

I found that funny too red.  He kept going on about how it was unsafe and not proper.  I doubt anyone who lights bugs on fire is really thinking it is a wise plan for eradication.
