Anyone think Mike can win the Triple crown along with leading in runs scored? Has anyone ever done that?

Yaz did it in '67, while also leading in hits, OBP, and SLG.

Frank Robinson did it in '66, while also leading in OBP and SLG.

Mantle did it in '56, while also leading in SLG.

Ted Williams did it in '42 and '47, while also leading in BB, OBP, and SLG both years.

Joe Medwick did it in '37, while also leading in hits, 2B, and SLG.

Rogers Hornsby did in in '22 and '25, while also leading in 2B, OBP, and SLG.

Cobb did it in '09, while also leading in SB, OBP, SLG, and hits.

Nap Lajoie did it in '01, while also leading in 2B, OBP, SLG, and hits.

So, yeah, it's been done before.  :)

Trout starts the 2nd half 7 home runs behind Abreu who may cool off but 6 behind Nelson Cruz a career home run hitter. Also, Trout is batting out of the number two position so his chances to lead the league in RBIs is slim at best.

On is current path he will be the MVP. Be happy.

And, IIRC, all of these guys but Medwick are in the Hall.

If Trout can do something like that, it's pretty exalted company.

Anyone ever win the All-star, League and Word Series MVP's in the same season?

Nope.  Jeter won All-Star and WS MVP in 2000, but no one else has even done that part of what you're asking about.

Cobb's Baseball Reference page is just ridiculous. I know it's a completely different era, but some of his seasons were insane.
