Autographed corvette

is it Derek Jeter autographed? I don't know if anyone here knows this but apparently Trout used to have a Derek Jeter poster in his bedroom as a kid. Now that trout is the new Jeter I'm sure he'd love to have Jeter's autograph on a car.

Some perspective:

Derek Jeter's career OPS: .822

289th place all-time

For real, two seasons of his 20 with an OPS at or above .900, you'd think he was the greatest hitter of all time the way the've been going on about him. He wasn't even a great fielder. Its annoying.

Jeter hit a lot of singles and a good number of doubles, and scored a lot of runs driven in by the good Yankee hitters behind him in the lineup.

That being said, he was a very good postseason hitter, and came through in the clutch. I'll give him that.

also, man you guys bitch about jeter a lot. the guy was a great player and a HOF'er. sure he gets some accolades that he doesn't deserve, but that's only because of all the other incredible stuff he did.

pay respect to a HOF'er on his way out, the same way they should have done for gwynn, zimmer and fregosi tonight. it would have taken virtually no time at all.

Look no one is saying Jeter hasn't had a great career. He has, no doubt. But the media and fans treat him like he is Lou gehrig. He is not that. He is one of the better players of all time, but not THE best. And its not like he won those rings by himself.

put Jeter in a twins uniform for his career, and there is not nearly as much fanfare
