I'm starting to be happy that Jeter is retiring.  I can't wait until the media's mouth is ripped from Jeter's teet, and sticks tightly onto Mike Trout's.


Same thing for Mariano last year. Thank God the "core 4" is finally done after this year. Won't have to deal with these ridiculous slobber-fests for the foreseeable future

The All-Star Game has become a love-fest with the history of baseball in the last few years, in spite of it mattering somewhat to the Playoffs.


I think Jeter is getting his due; classy representative of the Game for the last 20 years.  I loved his locker-room speech; he seems to be grounded in reality.


Let's go Halos!  Represent!  Trout for MVP!
