Because on any given night Trout is 1-for-4 or 2-for-5 with a walk and an RBI. The cumulative numbers are what is impressive, not what happens in any single game.

...and that is why you will only watch the 2014 season via binge watching over the course of a couple of weeks in mid November, right?

Netflix has ruined everything.

From ESPN today, it's the ultimate Trout porn. A full length feature with hardcore projections, deep penetrating interviews and even character development.

Ill have to watch it after work. The last time I opened a link with 'hard core' and 'deep penetration' at work I got a few days off

That last part wasnt even an intended pun either

And yet the stadium isn't sold out every night... which amazes me and the Angels rank 27th in average road attendance.  I don't understand why fans aren't flocking to the stadium to see Trout every time he steps on the field.  It's baffling.

Well, they do rank 5th in MLB in average home attendance and park capacity, so it's not like they are struggling to get people to show up.

Their 26.9 K road average attendance is also higher than what the Astros (22.6), Mariners (22.8), Athletics (24.1), Indians (18.4), Royals (22.6), White Sox (20.6) all pull in at home.   That's impacted the road numbers since the Angels have played a lot of games in those AL West parks and at least one series in each of those parks.   Their games in Philly drew well above the Phillies' yearly average (37.3 K Vs. 30.4)..   That was basically all Mike Trout pulling in his home town.
