MVP- Trout

Surprise team- Red Sox. Last place in the east.

NL

Cy Young- Kershaw

ROY- Billy Hamilton

MVP- Kershaw

Surprise team- Marlins. More competitive than most people thought.

Kershaw is not the MVP.  Probably Tulo or McCutchen.

 

Also, Wainwright is arguably having a better season than Kershaw since his numbers are almost identical and he has pitched 40 more innings.

Can't argue with any of these except Kershaw MVP. I'd give that to Tulo. As for all the other awards (MVP, CYH, ROY etc)  second place isn't even close.

McCutchen is better than Tulo. His home/road splits are too crazy to be ignored.

Kershaw for MVP is pretty funny.

Any pitcher for MVP is. But as great as kershaw is right now, like mentioned above, wainright isnt far off. Hard to say kershaw is so much better than him, that hes also better than tulo and cutch.

I just had a guy tell me that he's seen at least 5 players who have had a better second half than Trout.

I was stunned and left looking like that one Doc Rivers gif.

I'd say the NL first half MVP is lucroy. Dude is clearly better than any other catcher in the league, and gives the brewers a huge advantage at the position

not saying I agree, but thats a valid point, especially with mill-e-wah-kay contending
