They got it working over at XDA.  Requires a rooted device.  I tested it out and it worked really well on my Galaxy S5.

I have a nexus 4 and 7. The mirror came with the last system update. Its nice but it's annoying that certain things don't disappear on the screen.

Yeah I did the hack before I realized that it was enabled for the S5 anyway, lol.

My LG G2 is already rooted.  So I'll look at the instructions on XDA how to mod the phone and Chromcast device, if needed.  I usually stream my HD movies that are 1080p quality from my laptop via Apple TV to my flatscreen TV.  It produces no lag (buffering, choppiness), whereas, I get some lag from Chromecast.  But I'll certainly give this a try again.

You don't need to be rooted if you're using a G2.
