why is it that hard? NL and AL. basically same area. i've always been a like one in each league kind of guy. my favorite NL team is the cardinals, but i'm not a "fan" of theirs.

Hard for me to feel sorry for a team who's fans took so much joy in our injuries and issues last year.  Karma is a mother$%^&*.

Remember last year how bad we all felt because of our bad season? Imagine how they feel being 20 games out before the all star break. Especially with the expectations going into this year. I feel awful. It's just not the same.

How can you be an Angels fan and a Dodgers fan at the same time?

Lots of young people who started casually following the Angels after 2002 (not necessarily due to being bandwagon fans as much as being young) don't really care much about the historic rivalry between the Dodgers and Angels.

 

I also have some older relatives who are strong Dodgers fans but will support the Angels vs any other AL teams when they are watching playoffs or attending Angels games socially. Those guys are opposed to the AL in general though (they strongly dislike the DH rule).

Lol. How quickly things turn around. Texas went from being a pretty flawless team in the bigs, with a bunch of highly rated prospects and a smart front office to....texas now.
