this TJ thing is crazy. arroyo's being pitching for like 100 years without a single injury. he's the most reliable guy that a front office could have signed and he goes down with this too. absolutely, unpredictable.

He had a much better offseason than he did in 12-13 (anything would be better than Hanson, Blanton, Burnett and Madsen)....I thought Arroyo or Maholm would be good pick ups so we all miss them sometimes....

I'm a little worried about Garret Richards. He's still unestablished, throws super hard, and has been throwing tons of sliders. Pitchers who throw with that much movement seem to flame out fast.

With all of the TJ surgeries popping up.....I would like to see a Group do a % of HGH....(I mean Supplement users with medical history)....The HGH, Supplements including Creatine makes the TENDONS brittle not enough replenishment of fluids and proper hydration of the body.......Equals breakdown of tendons throughout the body. The most used in a pitcher would be the Shoulder and the elbow....

That 83% is going to top 87% of MLB and it's affiliates used something.

HGH has been shown to increase tendon collagen synthesis which leads to thicker and healthier tendons less susceptible to injury. That is its greatest effect. It doesn't make tendon injury more likely. It decreases the risk.
