Scioscia is Foolish for Platooning Calhoun and Cowgill

I don't really care if Calhoun is platooned or not. I just think its incredibly stupid to complain about. Especially with the team winning. Calhoun doing well. And Cowgill doing well.

that was the premise of my very first post in am made on this topic. As one poster said. The platoon is one of the least issues regarding the team.

So just to sum it up.

You complain about the complainers because there's no need to complain when the angels are winning?

Kole Calhoun has a higher RC/27 than Nelson Cruz, Miguel Cabrera, Robinson Cano, and Jose Altuve.  He'd rank 8th in the league if he qualified.

 

Scioscia was right.  Too good too platoon.

We're still not exactly sure what Calhoun's ceiling is. He could just be a late bloomer for all we know. I don't think he's a .300/.360/.550 player, but who knows?

 

One thing is for sure: he has a far higher upside than Cowgill.

Calhoun has been amazing this season.  Great improvement from last year.  Dude has All Star in his future.
