Mike Trout's power

Recommended Posts

Crazy that it potentially will continue to grow. He is already 21st on the Angel's all time homerun list could easily be around 15th by the end of the season.

Within a month Trout will be overtake Erstad for 5th place for Angels all time career fWAR. He could be #1 by the end of 2016.

as excited as I am as a trout fan, im...well...kind of embarrassed as an angels fan.

the angels have nothing of which to be ashamed. they had their dark ages as an expansion team, since then they have a pretty respectable history. the other thread, about the angels being 4 games from .500, really opened my eyes to that concept. when they achieve that, which will be very soon, they'll be the only expansion team on that list. that's kind of a big deal, at least to me.

The Mets are pretty similar to the Angels in terms of their career WAR leaderboard.

In the case of the Padres #1 is Gwynn at 65 and #2 is Dave Winfield at 29.1. Trout will have a higher total than Winfield by the end of this year.

I agree.  It's a huge deal...

I love how that bogus called strike didn't affect him at all. Most players would just strike out and continue to bitch about it to the umpire.

Mike Trout just switches from "get on base" mode from "watch this" mode, and imposes his will on the next pitch.

I don't care where that pitch was. It was going over the wall.
