The writer thinks  Rojas is pretty fantastic as a play-by-play guy...has some criticism for Gubi.

 

I agree with the article. Gubi tries way too hard, and is often times very annoying.

the rankings they have at the end of the article are immediately suspect because they rank ChiSox team with Hawk Harrelson about 7th -- in the upper half.........how can that be?

aside from the obnoxious home run call, hawk is good. a true white sox fan calling the game!!!!

In the bottom of the 8th, Gubi said something like, "The bullpen once again pitching well tonight to keep the team in the game."

 

That was after Jepsen relieved Richards in the top half of the inning and allowed an inherited runner to score. How is decreasing the lead in 2/3 of an inning "keeping the team in the game"?
