Everything they showed has been crazy impressive.  Love the Android changes.  Really like the Google Cast stuff they are doing too.

i just see smart watches going the way of 3d tvs. i don't see the masses being appealed to the smart watches.

Android updates include smart notifications like the ones introduced in iOS 8, switching to ART runtime which should definitely increase performance (I believe one of the most overlooked parts of the whole thing, by all accounts ART is much faster).  

 

Smarter security, including the ability to recognize the user based on a smart watch, or also location based locking.  Basically avoiding having to enter your pin code when you are at home or wearing your watch.  Looks like they are also bringing lockscreen notifications.

 

Lots more of their card based UI like Google now has.  Chrome tabs being included in recent apps for faster multi tasking.

No one has mentioned Android Auto, it could have huge potential.

The car integration is great, they have been doing it with iOS for a couple years now.  I will get more excited about it when I am buying a new car.  Since I just bought one it doesn't matter to me.  Same with the TV, I hope I don't have to buy another TV for a few more years.

I wish it was something you could more easily integrate into your car if it doesn't come out of the factory built in.
