#Angels Scioscia: "We're going to keep Joe in the back end for right now until Ernie gets his feet on the ground and his game comes back."

Frieri has nine lives. Just stick with Smith as long as he keeps getting the job done, regardless of what Frieri is doing. Enough with the merry-go-round

Morin and Smith looked good, Jeppy and Frieri were just lucky.

Early in this season, heck before the season even started, most people knew that Jepsen blew chunks, and Frieri should not be closing games.

This was before the season.

People made tons of excuses for Jepsen, even Chuck knew he was bad, but said he "understood why he was being given another chance" but after 13 years in this organization, nothing has changed.

Frieri is still not a closer either, but Scioscia, against everything that everyone has seen...is still going to work him back into the closing role...anyone that thinks otherwise hasn't watched Scioscia manage.

It might take 3 weeks this time, but Frieri WILL be back to close, and he might even succeed for a week or two....

But it will end up the way Frieri and Jepsen always end up, unless Dipoto trades them off so that it can't happen.

I feel for Dipoto, having to DFA players that might actually have a role somewhere, almost every year... so that they can't be misused by Scioscia.

So this was meant to be a positive thread appreciating what the bullpen did last night. Why do you keep bring up Scioscia in every single thread regardless of the content?

BTW we won.
