You have to think we'll be re-adding Michael Roth the to 40-man shortly. Just dominating AA. As for Pineiro, if he makes a start for this team something will have either gone terribly wrong or incredibly right. Either way I wouldn't count on it.

Also, never thought I'd find myself discussing Joel Pineiro on an Angels forum again so soon.

I don't know if I'd consider a 24 year-old with a 1.234 WHIP and a 4.2 K/9 in AA as dominating.

Named Texas League pitcher of the week.  Hasn't allowed more than 3 runs in his last 9 starts. Good home/road splits.  Had an ERA in June of 0.98.  Has an ERA of 2.81 on the season.  If that's not dominating then you need to adjust your expectations.  

 

Some people are just too hard to please.  Michael Roth is pitching better than any minor leaguer in the system right now.
