I don't think its going to sink in until he walks up to the plate for his first Angel at bat of countless weak grounders to third.

If Albert Pujols is not again the best, most feared offensive player in the game, he's certainly in the conversation. He's also one of the best things about this new baseball season. To see a guy who has worked so hard and who has struggled so much with injuries for two years, to see that guy rewarded is about as good as it gets.

I brought this up in another thread and it was lost in the chaff...but I was trying to remember...does Pujols have that defining moment as a Halo? That big highlight hit. I'm not talking about number 500, but that late inning game winner or big hit? Hell, I can even think of 1 or 2 for Ibanez, but for the life of me I can't for Pujols.

To me, its that time he got pissed at Aybar in the congratulations line after a win.  I've never seen a professional athlete look that pissy.

The one thing that everyone has been waiting for is for Pujols, Trout and Hamilton to all get rolling at the same time. I'm not sure that we've ever seen that happen thus far but if it ever does, we have a shot at doing some serious damage. Right now would be a good time to put that plan into action.
