Good, I am glad Scioscia is focused on these issues.

 

I hope he can also get some clarification on how many balls it takes to walk and strikes it takes to make an out.......he also looks confused during those times.

If their hairy catcher does it again, the next angel runner coming into home should launch themselves shoulder-first into his head.

Yep, only way to get those calls on technicalities like the plate blocking are for the players to "force the issue" themselves. Kinda like how the only way to get running inside baselines  called is to hit the baserunner in the back with the ball when throwing toward the base.
