A broken femur is a pretty serious injury. There's always risks with blood clots and such. He also has multiple myloma which could be complicating his healing. It would be nice to hear some updates about his status.

Hitting with RISP is more mental than anything. The Angels are a top 3 team in most offensive categories, saber-metrically and in general statistics. Our players just don't have that killer instinct yet, and haven't learned how to really ''win'' yet.

I'd take most of our players over the A's (other than a select few of their All-Stars of course).
