I'm just going to assume (because it helps me deal with this) that he is getting  at bats to see if anything is left in the tank before Hamilton comes back.   I am actually ok with him being on the bench and pinch hitting late in the game, but only until Hamilton comes back.  Then if we need that kind of bat later on, then just bring up Navarro.

I don't trust Green as a hitter ... so Cron would be my choice. I prefer a DH with power.

I have no idea why Dipoto doesn't put an end to the Ibanez mistake. The Angels don't need to wait for Hamilton to return, Ibanez is well below replacement AAAA player value. They have better in house resources and the good clubhouse guy is plain bullshit.
