Toronto is leading Oakland 2-0.

Toronto challenged a call when Bautista was forced out at second base on a shallow bloop to the outfield. The call stood despite evidence that the runner's toe touched the bag before the ball was secured in Jim Johnson's glove.

Manager John Gibbons ran out and was ejected from the game, and thousands of Blue Jays fans loudly chanted "bullshit" repeatedly in reference to the blown call by the crew in NYC. The play ultimately cost Toronto at least one run.

Rangers are once again utterly destroying Detroit, up 8-2.

Tampa/Boston appears to be on the way to another close low scoring game. Boston is currently trailing by a run and on pace for their tenth consecutive loss.

Hmm, we can really close up on Oakland if we take advantage of their recent mishaps.

We also need to keep winning because Texas has been gaining ground on both us and Oakland lately. The Rangers have actually been pretty impressive considering most of their team is minor league replacements from their farm at this point.
