That's flawed logic; unlike with pitchers, you generally can't point to anyone on the offense costing any team a win unless they do something drastic, like commit a baserunning error in the 9th that ends the game. So really Ibanez could be hitless on the season and you could still say he hasn't cost us a game.

Every time he doesn't produce changes the batting order for the innings that follow. There is no way to know what would have happened if, say, he had gotten a hit two innings earlier so we might be a place farther along in the batting order as the game unfolded. Plus, as it stands now, we are pretty much conceding an out every time he goes to the plate. I'm having Mathis flashbacks.

You guys didn't get the memo that Mathis and Quinlan provided a copy of the incriminating photos of Scioscia to Raul?

Ah yes, the incriminating photos logic.  Explain to my why in 15 years no incriminating photos have never surfaced.  It's like saying that American astronauts never landed on the moon nine times, and it was faked on a movie set.  Why would you fake something like that nine times?

Luckily two can play at that game. Shortly after Pujols made the statement that he would retire if he couldn't play out the end of his contract up to his own standards there was some speculation that arte Moreno has an ace in the hole--definitive evidence that Pujols lied about his age. If Pujols agrees to retire early amicably the evidence will remain under wraps =) Edited by ScottLux

Yep, speculation started by AO. I'm sure it's legit
