Not sure Texas wants to spend the cash.  Might just scrap this season and see if guys get healthy.  Kendrys is pretty average, he's not gonna put them over the hump if they have 15 guys on the DL.

Boras has been holding out for a multi-year deal. If he wants his client to play, teams will only consider a 1yr deal.

Texas is going to be a moderate seller this seaon. They aren't going to give up a draft pick to get Kendrys.  Look for possible trades featuring Rios and/or Beltre.

The only thing likely rising for Kendrys is his weight, which he probably can't even hit.

So you don't know much about baseball is what you're saying. 

 

Most teams don't look at him as anything other than a DH, and his numbers are well above average.  

 

Yeah, that average 1.4 WAR per season since 2010 is really astronomically valuable.  Sorry I'm not a compendium of baseball knowledge, please teach me your ways.

The only thing I could see coming from a Morales reunion is Cron being traded for pitching which I would hate and love.

no because those guys should be taking ibanez' spot on the roster. i'd absolutely rather have any mix of navarro/green/cron  over an ibanez/kendry combo.

About a week to ago before you can sign Kendrys without losing a draft pick . Word is that the Yankees seem very interested.

He would be a great addition to the Angels but that seems very doubtful.

Beltre was one of my favorite players growing up. I've always wanted him in a Angel uniform. Obviously not going to happen but I can dream.
