From our Salt Lake Bees Correspondent, Rick Dykhuizen

Josh looked good tonight (he was wearing a large padded glove while running the bases), he went 2-4 with a ground rule double and didn't look like his thumb was bothering him at all. Josh didn't have the best plate discipline tonight, but he was probably a little too eager being this was his first game back. Josh hit the ball, second pitch, past the second baseman for a single in his first at bat. His second at bat was a little different as he swung at a pitch way out of the zone for the first strike. Took a ball on the second pitch and almost swung out his shoes on the third pitch. The last pitch he hit to the second baseman, but was able to reach on a fielding error. His third at bat, Josh waited for a pitch to hit and drove the ball deep to right-center that eventually bounced over the wall for a ground rule double. Josh's last at bat saw him hit a routine grounder to short stop for an out.

Josh had some really good swings tonight and looks like he might continue the hot streak he had when placed on the DL.

Thanks.

Back when the injury took place we all kind of agreed if we could play .500 ball until he got back we'd put ourselves in a good position. Well we're 6 up and can't be any worse than 3 up when he gets back. Really excited about this teams potential.... Again

Well said!
