MacBook Pros

So here is the situation.  I have this macbook from an estate of a family friend.  I want to wipe it of all information and do a simple clean install so the estate can sell it.  it's running Mac OS X, version 10.6.8.  

 

I don't have any disks, or even the password.  It's still logged into the account on the computer.  

 

So is there any easy way to do it, or do I have pretty much a useless brick on my hands?  The PC laptops were cake.

Take it to Dyno computers in Pasadena. They will take care of it cheap. Bring paperwork so they know it isn't stolen

Unfortunately, no paperwork.  But I'll call them and find out if they can help.

figured it out.  Downloaded maverick from Mega and wiped the drive.

maverick works a ton better with iceman nearby.
