I'm still waiting for an arrest in the Benghazi murders. Obama swore to hunt down the killers and bring them to justice. He was pretty angry, as I recall.

Limbaugh lost me years ago when I was listening to him talk about a speech that Mikhail Gorbachev was making in the US at the time. He was criticizing people who were going to hear him, even speaking mock Russian. The man who presided over perhaps the most sweeping governmental transformation in the history of the planet was somehow less worthy of being listened to than a man who has never done anything more significant than promote himself.

Limbaugh is a very smart guy. He is a genius when it comes to radio. He views it as theater and knows that in doing so he'll get those that are along for the ride, those that are infuriated by what he says and those who are lock step with his character to listen.

He's an artist. He's Stephen Colbert, but without an eye towards satire.

He's a bombastic ad selling machine.

Satisfy the military industrial complex? Oh yea.

Create never ending profit stream for health insurance companies? Did that.

I think two of those three would've happened no matter who we elected in 2008 or 2012. That's not an excuse for Obama, but it is an indictment of our government in general. Our government has effectively become a corporate asset to the largest American industries.
