Florida's state testing for school-aged students is coming under fire yet again, but not for reasons you might expect.

State Representative Charles Van Zant of northeast Florida claims the company hired to design the test is attempting to turn students gay.

Van Zant claims that the organization the state paid $220 million to design a new standardized test is trying to get young people to become gay and it appears some local Fort Myers residents agree with the claim.

"They are promoting as hard as they can any youth that is interested in the LGBT agenda," Van Zant told an audience in Orlando.

He's referring to the American Institute for Research, or AIR, an organization hired to develop new testing for Florida students.

"They will promote double-mindedness in state education and attract every one of your children to become as homosexual as they possibly can," Van Zant continued.
