Because I just sat down to actually focus on the game after dealing with no show contractors all day.  So seeing Raul hitting cleanup and us getting shut out by Archer has put me in a fantastic mood.  

 

That Albert groundout helped too.

actually, Albert thought he was being tricky there. 

 

He let that first pitch go as if he were going to take until he got a strike.  then he thought he would catch archer throwing a get me over fastball.  But Archer outsmarted him with the breaking ball.

holy ****ing christ 8 for 51 with RISP for Albert? He's our number 3 hitter? And we're above .500? That's a miracle.

Just a terrible approach there by a vet...a hall of fame talent type vet. No clue wtf he was doing there. Young pitcher was on the ropes and having trouble locating and you don't even make him throw a strike before committing to a pitch?

 

Pujols has been DH'ing quite a bit lately and is sucking at the plate...won't be surprised if we hear shortly that he's battling some leg related injury/soreness again.
