My next door neighbor has a cat that sits on the fence outside of my bedroom and meows constantly. Between that and the midnight fights it has with other cats I am reaching a breaking point.

 

Any suggestions?

I'm thinking about an airsoft gun. I've already shot it a couple of times with one of those dipstick water guns like this but it didn't get the message.

 

I have a feeling the order of progression will be something like this:

 

water gun->airsoft gun->pellet gun->shotgun

Talk to your next door neighbor, tell them that the cat is becoming a nuisance and ask them if they can do something to resolve the issue. That usually works.

Pellet gun.

I've got a crazy cat lady in my neighborhood and for about a year, those mf'ers would come into my backyard, make noise, fight, etc.

Then one day I put a pellet in the ass of one of them, and haven't had any come around since.

It probably helped that as it scurried away I was shouting "YEAH!! AND MAKE SURE YOU TELL YOUR FRIENDS!!"
