Good to see Ibanez benched even against a righty!

Cron batting cleanup in his 3rd MLB game with a RHP on the mound and Ibanez benched. Doesn't bode well for Ibanez

 

loving the aggressiveness from the team with the young guys. They are really giving Cron every opportunity to run with the DH job. Can't wait to see Bedrock/Alvarez joining this pen with Morin already here and seeing them pitch.

 

The slow starts over the past few years must have given them more sense of urgency this season

I wonder if the Rasmus move is temporary based on the fact that a bunch of the pen got burnt yesterday and only 1 day off for the next 16 games.

My thought exactly. I fully expect Rasmus to be back down by next week.

Since Maronde cannot seem to get even lefties out, I suspect he's the one sent down.

great move putting Cron behind Pujols...let's see what the rook can do.  Cowart has been improving and swinging a good bat as of late...would love to see him get a call up later in the season if Freese continues to struggle

Watching the Giants/Pirates game. Giants down 8-2 in the 4th. Tie it up at 9 in the 7th. Doesn't surprise me. It would surprise me if the Angels did that. I would love to see a great come from behind effort just once this year.
