I'm thinking Freese and Abe Vigoda will be DFA by the ASB...

It is time someone stood up to Scioscia, and JD has obviously been here long enough to finally do that.

I got a chub the moment Freese got hit in the hand last night.

I don't want anyone to get hurt, but he was going to be somewhere in the lineup most days if he hadn't.

The couple games he actually looked a bit better, were, IMO, just glimmers of false hopes....and enough to buy him another month from Scioscia if he didn't get hit on a slow reaction at the plate.

It forced the move, and it's a good turnout from a bad situation.

He hurt his finger dude, it isn't like he snapped a leg Barbaro style. And I have yet to see that it isn't anything but a bruise..but Freese going on the DL gets a fist pump from me.

It forced the team to look at, and more importantly put into action, other options.

And as much as you want to hold onto false hope...Freese sucks.
