I loved it as well. The first 45 minutes or so kind of dragged but the last 45 minutes was really good. I haven't been able to catch the second episode yet.

I laughed out loud at least six times during first two episodes. Is quirky enough to keep my attention. Billy Bobs power of suggestion is pretty funny.

The concept sounded like a terrible idea but the cast looked impressive so it was worth a shot. Totally worth it. Best new show I've seen this year along with True Detective. I think it's supposed to be an anthology series too.

Just watched most recent episode on dvr this afternoon. They just tied the TV show to the movie. At first I thought it was hokie but then realized the tie In totally answered a question I had from the first time I saw the movie. I don't to spoil anything for anyone that is reading this without catching up on the episodes. Better catch up Cez, my fabulous friend! Or I will blow...........plot lines to ruin the quirky twists. A show so funny straight people will laugh at it too.

Not the snowy highway, tho that was the scene of both original crimes. I am talking about the "god is real" scene.

I'm two episodes into it; so far very enjoyable.

 

At first, I was annoyed at how they seemed to over-do the Minnesota-jargon.  But you get used to it, and Billy Bobs' character is fantastic.  I'm in.

At least two more movie tie ins in latest episode. Used the name Gustaffsen. And used the top of the parking structure. I am sure there's more for someone who knows the movie better than I do. I don't want to give away plot lines but I sure hope she's not hurt bad. But it looks bad.
