MLB Network's Chris Russo

Chuck

Recommended Posts

He came back to WFAN last year to do an interview on the boomer and Carton show, and Chris Carton asked him, " how are you enjoying retirement". An obvious slap in the face for his leaving the station to go to Sirrius and get his own station, mad dog radio, that no one listened to.

This guy is absolutely horrible. I can't understand half of the sh*t he is saying. When he is coherent, he's making some awful argument.

When asked about Trout vs Cabrera today, he responded with the stupid "Who would you want up with the game on the line?". Brian Kenny countered with "Who would you want to catch or run the bases with the game on the line?" and Russo just discounted it and brought up some completely irrelevant things.

Here's a clip of Chris Russo *shudders* interviewing Hawk Harrelson regarding hemorrhoids *shudders harder*:

I haven't listened to the link but I can only imagine you did a search for: most annoying interview in the history of interview-doms and that bad boy showed up with a 100% relevance.

There is nothing appealing about some middle aged dude screaming in a thick New York accent.

+1.....ESPN does the same thing with Wilbon, Kornheiser, Steven A. Smith, Skip Bayless (the absolute worst IMO)....obviously somebody watches this crap...amazing to me...

I saw a bit of this crap-fest yesterday and it was as horrible as I thought it would be.  He's the baseball commentary equivalent of a shopping trip at the 99 cent store.

Bonus content not from him, but still on MLB network: through a sleep haze I heard somebody talking about Harper's injury and he said "Trout is a four-tool player.  Harper is a five-tool player."  I guess Harper's hair is the tool that Trout lacks.

Would anybody be surprised if a Russo tape popped up that was closely related to the disgusting comments recently released by Donald Sterling?

Russo makes makes decisions and value judgments with the same rigor as Nicholas Cage selects booze from Leaving Las Vegas...

Or the talking heads on Fox News.
