Ibanez is hitting .096 the last two weeks.  Scioscia hits him cleanup.  

 

 There really is no explanation for this.

We'd be better off with Cowgill at cleanup, Ibanez at DH (batting low in the order) and Freese on the bench.

Ibanez sure looks good this season. Reminds me of Matt Stairs. Absolutely useless inning 1-7, decent innings 8-9.

I mean how hard is it to give Cowgill regular playing time and call up Green.  Aybar, Cowgill, Trout, Pujols, Kendrick, Green, Stewart, Freese, Conger 

 

Call it a day.  So sick of Shuck and Ibanez in this lineup.  Willing to give Freese a little longer because he's younger and has a track record.

Honestly after the last two seasons, a .500 April would be like winning the World Series. Hasn't there only been one season in the Scoscia era where we were more than like two games over .500? If anything this year looks a lot more like 2004-2009 than 2010-2013 so far.

 

Well agreed.  But my point is we lead the league in HRs and runs, we lead the league in starting pitching BAA...yet we still don't have a winning record.  That's pretty incredible.
