9 incredible facts about Albert Pujols

Recommended Posts

I read the one story about him and the guy who fell on the field.

Amazing how Card fans turned on him when he left.

I mean, I get it the moment it happened because emotions are high and they grew attached to him...but it's been 3 years now and we are still seeing anger over it(when their favorite team has been one of the better ones in MLB over that span). Makes little sense

If Trout ends up walking after this extension is up...it'll suck, but I know I'll still be happy to have seen him dominating the league in a Halos uni early in his career

Wonderful story.

Amazing story. It really puts in contrast what matters most. We the fans get frustrated with him when he rolls over to 3B, but that is so minimal in comparison to the impact he has on people and to the person that he is. We get annoyed when he sounds arrogant in an interview, but in reality he prides himself on his work and his work ethic and how much he busts his ass. He's a great man who transcends he baseball diamond. He's a family man, hard worker, caring individual. You don't see a lot of superstars like that anymore.

This season resurgence has been beautiful to watch, and at times he can frustrate us, but I am glad he is an Angel and hope he continues to amaze everyone.

Well said. Reading that story and the link in it were very uplifting. I have more respect for him now as person.
