why is anyone putting on a shift for jed lowrie?

defense is changing as we know it. Managers are now adjusting to batter tendencies, no matter who it is. I think its a good idea and I have no problem with guys trying to bunt their way on. If anything porter should be happy lowrie is trying to bunt instead of swinging the bat

If Porter is using a defensive strategy to keep Lowrie from getting on base. Obviously, he feels his team still has a chance to win. Therefore, Lowrie should be using an offensive strategy for the same reason. Porter was flat out wrong.
