You should probably care about Salas not being able to strand inherited runners if Scioscia is going to insist on using him so often in key situations.

Need a legit closer, need more middle relief help....man it sucks having a shitty bullpen. You ask these dudes to just throw 1 scoreless inning and they can't do that

Scioscia deserves more criticism as well.  The situation itself already justified pulling him before facing Werth, but combined with the fact that righties hit Frieri better, and this year have a freaking 1.500 OPS against him, there's no excuse for that.
