I will never understand all the hate for Nickelback. Seriously.

I think they bailed on a sold out show one time and the attendees took it pretty hard, it was never the same for them since.

why do you want to make it sound like so much of it is used by this kind of crowd? maybe it's a generational thing, but it's helped put me in touch with friends that moved somewhere else after high school or college. when i went to north carolina a few weeks ago, i was able to connect with four friends that had moved away. when i go somewhere to sing, it gives me a chance to get in touch with friends in that area. the downside is minimal, and the upside is terrific. i'm sorry your experience is less than positive, but your experience is a whole lot different than mine, and it's been a tremendous positive for me and many, many friends and former students.
