Actually wouldn't have minded Texas getting him. He'd get trashed in Arlington and they'd have had to forfeit a draft pick I believe

No official announcement on Kyle Lohse but I'm hearing 3 years for just over $30 million. Sounds like about $11 M per year. Details coming.

If you buy into him. Staying in the NL Central is nice, but I just don't trust him repeating what he did last season.

I wouldn't have minded him in Texas. He'd probably have a mid 4's ERA there. Not a bad move to stay in the same division for Lohse though.

That really isn't an awful deal. The 3rd year is a bit much though.

3 years at $30 milliion?  Wow! That's a bit of a hefty price for him,

 

I think he will do well in Milwaukee -- he probably should have signed back with St. Louis where he had some success.

 

I would think he's more of a 2 years at $7 million price......but, hey, more power to him to get that deal.

 

what are we paying Blanton again?  I'd rather have Lohse.
