Inherited runners scored...guess who leads the list?

No, not Frank Stallone...

Not sure if that even includes last night.  I checked the stats for 2013 and there were three pitchers tied for the lead with 19 (De La Rosa was tied for fourth with 18).  So, Salas is already 25% of the way to eclipsing last year's leaders.

What the hey did JeDi even see in Salas? Ever since 2012, he wasn't very good.

Well I mean when you can acquire an about to be non-tendered reliever with a straight as an arrow low 90s fastball and offspeed pitches he can't throw for strikes, that's a move you have to make.

Salas needs to go along with Butcher and it could time for Scioscia too. This team lacks fiery type players. They play the game with little outward enthusiasm. That is on Scioscia.

The first we need a more motivating manager post of the new season.

The starting pitchers need to give him fewer opportunities.

Isn't preventing runners on base from scoring the role of a relief pitcher?  If its up to the starter to give "fewer opportunities" than than cut a few relievers and expect the starter to go 9.

Salas will not (and should not) be on the roster in June/July.  He will have been either released or DFA'd by that time and honestly, it's a telling fact about the state of the Angels pen when not only did Salas make the team, but also given the number of opportunities.  He's just not very good.
