I am tempted to break my promise and post a "Time to predict Scoiscia's Post Game Comments" thread. I am sorry, but not bringing in Smith or Dane was absurd. I won't, but it would be warranted.

As crazy as that sounds, I am actually starting to believe that this is deliberate sabotage on his part. Maybe he wants to get Dipoto fired? Or even himself so he can collect his huge paycheck through 2018? Maybe he's helping the Dodgers by sabotaging this team?

Whatever it is, his bullpen management is so disgustingly awful, it's mindblowing that this guy is getting paid millions to do this. Even a goddamned trained monkey can better manage a bullpen than Scioscia. What part doesn't he get that you want your best relievers out there during high-leverage situations and especially the most important moments of the game?

This is what I don't understand. If Weaver gets the final out, then Sosh will put in JoeNesto to start the 8th to finish off the game. But because there is 1 measly out left, that changes the whole process to put in a weaker pitcher. Which happens to be a more critical time with runners on the bases that could give up the lead.  That is when you should put in your better RP to get out of the jam. If you're gonna trust Joe to get the 3 outs in the 8th, then he should be trusted to get 4 outs.

I COULD understand why DLR wasn't called in because he hasn't pitched yet this year. That situation might not have been the best scenario to start the season for him.

Yep. They brought in Joe Smith for a reason...and that's the moment to use him. Just ridiculous by Scioscia that could very well cost them a winnable game
